The origin of BELWAY
BELWAY is located in Villennes-sur-Seine, a small village of 5,000 inhabitants in the Paris region, which has a major advantage: its train station with a direct link to PARIS.
But the timetable of the journeys is a real constraint: at best every 20 minutes during rush hour, the frequency decreases to 30 minutes in the middle of the day, and 1 hour in the evening!
Indeed, the trains are almost empty at off-peak times, and moving a 60-tonne vehicle for so few people is not viable.
The arrival of autonomous vehicles and digital technology was the revelation that allowed Daniel to imagine an individualised solution, with no waiting time and no timetable.
BELWAY was born.
